Please read this short story and answer my questions.
Christmas is coming….
Many kids around the world believe that Santa Claus comes to their homes in a sleigh pulled by reindeers…that he arrives at night on Christmas Eve and gets inside their rooms through the chimney. In the morning kids find their presents under the Christmas tree.
- Is it the same at your home?
- Do you know how people celebrate Christmas in other countries ?
- Do they have the same traditions than in Poland?
PS…and a little joke for you:
One day a little girl was watching her Mom do the dishes at the kitchen. She suddenly notice that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.
She looked at her Mom and asked: Why is some of your hair white Mom?
Her mother replied: Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hair turns white!
The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said: Mom, how come ALL of Grandma’s hair is white?
